Mother’s love: The unshakable Bond.

My wonderful Gist partner, Today’s letter is about our Mothers. Wait, hold on, don’t go, Fathers are great people too and we’re gonna dedicate a letter to them as well. But let’s dedicate today’s own to our mothers.

As I sit here, reflecting on my journey, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude and tears thinking about my mum's unwavering love. It's a love that has been my safe space, my guiding light, and my everything.

I remember the countless sleepless nights she spent by my side, her tired eyes shining with concern, her gentle touch soothing my fears. The sacrifices she made for me, the dreams she put on hold, the struggles she faced with courage – all for me.

And then there were the little things: her 5 Alive drinks stocked up in her shop for sale were all sacrificed for my health, the Christmas outfit she borrowed money for, making me feel like royalty. Each gesture gave an indelible mark on my heart.

But it's not just the grand gestures; it's the silent prayers, the knowing glances, and the warm hugs that whispered, "I'm here." Her love has been my anchor in life's turbulent storms, my shelter in the darkest nights.

As I grew older, I realized that this love isn't limited to biological ties; it extends to mother figures, caregivers, and anyone who embodies that unwavering devotion. Their selflessness, patience, and kindness shape us into who we are today.

Everybody’s safe space, is their mother’s chest.

To my mum, and yours, thank you for being our everything. Your love has been the melody that fills our lives with meaning, the rhythm that makes our hearts beat. We're grateful for the laughter, the tears, and the memories we've shared.
